Important Info

As a production team we promise to:

Plan rehearsals ahead of time to use the full time allocated to us each evening.
Make sure support is always available even outside of rehearsals.
We will ensure you have all backing tracks, props, costumes, hair pins, wigs and anything in between!
Give you a fun, friendly environment to develop your skills, meet friends and enjoy the crazy world of Panto!

In return, we expect you to:
Turn up and arrive on time to all rehearsals with your script, a pencil and anything we may ask you to bring that week.
Let us know if you are unable to make a rehearsal. We need to know of planned absences/ holidays at least a week in advance (preferably sooner!) or if you are ill, please message/call us before 3pm that day.
Come to rehearsals focused and with a can do attitude.
Give it your everything and HAVE FUN!!

This is a live schedule and will update and change, so check back regularly:

You must be able to perform in all shows to be part of the production.

Theatre is about teamwork and effort – not turning up to rehearsals causes the production team a headache and is selfish towards your fellow cast members who are relying on you to be there for blocking and parts. The rules above are more than reasonable if your case is genuine and you stay organised! Last minute emergencies will be treated on a case by case basis.

If you clock up more than THREE unauthorised absences you will be asked to leave the show.

Please contact directly the designated contact for this show and NOT the group chat or Facebook group.

PLANNED ABSENCES

For example, holidays, work and trips away.

Must be given to the production team 7 days in advance.

ILLNESS / LAST MINUTE ABSENCES

Including family emergencies and last minute work changes.

You MUST tell the production team BEFORE 3pm on the day of the rehearsal.

If you are unwell, we’d rather you stay away but give us plenty of notice in the morning and don’t tell us twenty minutes before rehearsal begins! If your child is off school they should stay at home instead of rehearsal.

FIRST TIME VISITING? Please read…..

How to use the example tracks..

  1. Find your part (high/low/mids) and make sure you are singing it EXACTLY as arranged. Keep practising with this for a week until you know it off by heart! The notes and timing are super important because if you’re off, it’ll REALLY clash with everybody else.
  2. 100% confident? Now sing your part to the ‘ALL’ version of the track. This contains all of the other harmonies and parts. Can you sing your part confidently without slipping into somebody else’s part or sounding out of place?

Three things to remember…

  1. If you are singing a solo, it is yours to own. When we sing as a group we sing as one collective, so we don’t make up parts and always sing the notes exactly as we’ve been given!
  2. Songs don’t learn themselves, we recommend practising your songs WITH the dance moves twice a week at home/work!
  3. If you miss a rehearsal, it is YOUR responsibilty to catch up with the singing or dance moves, either using other cast members or watching/listening to the tracks. We may remove people who don’t know a song as well as everybody else!
